In November 2025 we completed the acquisition of the Isle of Grain liquified natural gas terminal, a joint venture with Energy Capital Partners. Grain LNG delivers vital energy security for the UK, providing critical LNG imports and exports, regasification and rapid response gas storage capacity to balance the energy system.
Spirit Energy
With a portfolio that is predominantly gas (96%), Spirit provides vital, primary energy that fuels homes and business across the UK and Europe. It is also working to convert the depleted Morecambe gas fields to provide permanent, safe and secure carbon storage.
Centrica Power
Centrica Power is responsible for building out our power generation assets including thermal plants, solar and battery storage. We have a 20% stake in the UK's existing nuclear power stations, we're a major stakeholder in the development of Sizewell C and are exploring the next generation of advanced modular reactor through our partnership with X-Energy.
