Hive has announced that myenergi's range of zappi EV chargers will be the next eco-tech devices to be integrated into the Hive Home app.
The collaboration means that owners of zappi or zappi GLO devices, some of the most popular EV chargers in the UK, can now fully control their device and gain insights on their energy usage through the Hive Home app.
New and existing customers can download the Hive Home app for free and simply add their charger to their Hive devices in a matter of minutes.
myenergi was cited by Hive as an ideal partner thanks to high standards in product performance, customer support and full optimisation capability. In turn, making their customers perfect candidates to enjoy new optimised tariffs, soon to be launched by Hive and British Gas, that will help them save money on their charging.
“Hive recognises the future of home energy management lies in being able to see and control home energy usage in one place. We want Hive users to know their power, making it simple for households to understand and make great decisions that will save energy – translating into costs and carbon.”
Lisa Bunting, Head of the Works With Hive programme
Hive and myenergi are now working closer on products as well, with the launch of a partnership sale and install package, where customers can buy the new zappi GLO directly through the Works with Hive website, with installation through official Hive trusted installer ChargedEV.
Eco-tech leader Hive has set out a roadmap to open the Hive Home app to more than 80% of leading eco-tech devices by the end of 2026. Through its Works With Hive programme, the company has already successfully integrated partners such as Samsung heat pumps, Sunsynk and Fox ESS batteries and inverters.
Lisa Bunting, Head of the Works With Hive programme, commented: “Hive recognises the future of home energy management lies in being able to see and control home energy usage in one place. We want Hive users to know their power, making it simple for households to understand and make great decisions that will save energy – translating into costs and carbon.”
