Centrica plc is delighted to have acquired Nabuh Energy, a UK based energy supplier.
Nabuh’s 36,000 customers and approximately 70 employees of the Sheffield-based company will be welcomed to the company around the end of April and will become part of the British Gas Energy business.
In the coming days Nabuh Energy will be in touch with customers with more information. Customers should be assured that nothing will change for them. Their gas and electricity supplies will continue without interruption and prices and terms will remain the same.
"We are delighted to welcome both Nabuh Energy’s customers and our new colleagues. This deal is part of our strategy to focus on and invest in our core markets and follows the acquisition of Robin Hood Energy’s customer base last year and more recently Simplicity Energy. This is a really exciting time for British Gas as we seek to return the business to growth and put customers at the heart of everything we do, by offering a competitive and innovative service."
Chris O'Shea, Group Chief Executive, Centrica
