British Gas has extended its electrical servicing business into 80,000 more households across Britain with the acquisition of National Homecare. British Gas Services now provides cover for over four million heating and kitchen appliances.
The £2 million purchase of the Birmingham based electrical appliance repair and servicing business from Thorn UK announced today makes British Gas Services one of the largest kitchen appliance service contract providers in the country.
Kitchen Appliance Cover is just one of British Gas Services’ growing portfolio of high quality services which includes plumbing, drains and home security and the recently launched Home Electrical Cover.
National Homecare’s 100 service engineers will be integrated into British Gas Services highly trained, direct labour workforce.
