Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in business or finance
    • 3+ years of relevant work experience with direct experience in the deregulated energy markets a plus
    • Minimum 2 years of work experience in sales/load forecasting/modeling
  • Project coordination/management experience
  • Problem-solving skills - proactively recommend solutions to various stakeholders; make decisions with limited information
  • Must be a proven self-starter, highly motivated, demonstrating a strong attention to detail
  • Collaborative approach to issues and problems
  • Strong analytical skills - ability to analyze and understand quantitative data
  • Ability to deliver real and measurable results
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain sales forecast and planning models for residential segments
  • Coordinate with pricing and sales teams to obtain required inputs for forecasting models
  • Accountable for the accuracy of the load forecasting models
  • Understand the factors that influence the sales across different customer segments
  • Make recommendations to improve overall forecasting capabilities
  • Provide ad hoc analytical support to the sales organization
  • Performing assigned special projects and analysis as needed by the Management
  • Coordinate all project management activities for Sales & Marketing projects
  • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate
  • Facilitate project meetings and ensure all project stakeholders understand project objectives
