Job Description

Primary Focus:

 

As a part of the Trading, Risk and Settlements IT team, the role will be focused on application support and development of the Openlink Endur platform. In addition to this the candidate may also be required to develop and support other related applications.

Primary responsibilities include creating integration solutions for ETRM related data, design of custom code and projects related to the Endur modules such as the ICE OTC Gateway, RTP, Trading Manager, Accounting Manager and Market Manager.  Other responsibilities include creating and supporting interfaces from/to Endur.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Endur development experience
  • Experience with North America Gas and Power required
  • Experienced designing Integration solution for ETRM related data
  • Experience with Java and OpenLink JVS
  • Experience with .NET and OpenLink Open Components .NET preferable
  • Experience with Endur Ops scripts
  • Experience with the Endur RTP, Market Data Manager, ICE OTC Gateway, and Trade Manager or Accounting Manager modules
  • Experience with Oracle database technology
  • Experience in Agile Programming Methodology is a plus
  • Ability to design, code, test and debug software
  • Experience with development tools (Eclipse)
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio preferable
  • Experience with using source control software (SVN)
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited educational institution (preferably in Computer Sciences, MIS or Mathematics)
  • Provide coaching to less experienced team members
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detailed oriented environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Provide optimal business system solutions from both a business and an IS perspective 

Responsibilities

Accountabilities:

  • Work closely with the Supply, Risk and Trading IT team, Enterprise Architecture and Infrastructure groups to deliver integrated solutions, while adhering to DE IT project management and software delivery standards
  • Work with the team to translate business requirements into technical specifications and perform development tasks to deliver solutions
  • Works independently or in a team, to design, code, test, document and debug programs of high complexity
  • Perform code reviews
  • Provide coaching/mentoring to less experienced developers
