Overview

Responsible for collaborating with front line teams in Customer Operations and Field Operations to develop a data culture to promote Data Quality into UK Home’s customer and commercial processes.
 
Responsible for identifying changes to improve data quality and access to frontline employees across UK Home by giving them the right data at the right time.
 
Accountable for prioritise and planning data improvements through the data improvement group and processes.
 
The role requires occasional UK travel

The Role

  • Undertake Business Root Cause Analysis on frontline employees issues (office and field)
  • Responsible for identifying, collating, analysing and communicating a range of data issues, assessing impact on the business, and making recommendations on project deliverables to senior stakeholders
  • Evaluate current training and Service Excellence procedures to ensure that we can support through having the right data at the right time
  • To manage the enterprise-wide Data Delivery plan and perform assurance and audit actions across data related initiatives/areas
  • Operate the Data Improvement Group and develop the roadmap and business case to achieve targets and investment

The Person

Competencies

  • A Data Management expert with a high level understanding of key business processes
  • Knowledge of enabling customer contact technologies
  • Delivered innovative and substantive changes in business
  • Proven change management skills
  • Proven project and programme management skills
  • Wider data management experience (including business intelligence, data analysis, data science, big data, data migration, data quality, data governance)
  • Good communication, presentation, explanation and influencing skills
  • Extensive knowledge of Data Management and Competence skills

Work Experience

  • An experienced Business Data Analyst with a high level understanding of data quality and data flows within customer processes
  • Demonstrated ability to turn analysis and research into business recommendations and effective presentations
  • Proven ability to implement enterprise data governance processes
  • Extensive knowledge of Data Strategy, Governance and Compliance techniques
  • Experience leading/driving continuous improvement activities
