In this pivotal start-up role you will demonstrate the impact of Learning and Development (L+D) in the business, presenting to senior stakeholders. With an insights background you will take reporting data and build and communicate a story.

The Insight Manager is responsible for providing meaningful insight to Centrica’s global Learning and Development (L+D) function. The Centrica L&D function operates across our global business – covering locations in the UK, Europe and North America. As L+D we are accountable for managing operational performance, such as budget, demand, resource, assurance, funding and vendors, as well as improving the performance of the business through targeted skill development programmes. Your role as Insight Manager is to streamline the required data sources to provide meaningful insight to the Senior L&D Leadership Team.
With the skills to provide impactful information you will develop and implement a reporting hierarchy to improve the visibility of L+D core metrics and methodologies that enable L&D to measure the impact learning has in the business.
You will lead a team of reporting and insight analysts to measure the effectiveness of learning, and provide recommendations that improve performance, measuring return on investment and providing reports/management data to stakeholders.
You will influence the strategy of the learning function through predicting future performance based on internal and external insight and benchmarks, impacting our L+D offering throughout our diverse business.
The ideal candidate will:
You will have experience of turning data in to insight and influencing senior stakeholders in a similar role, not necessarily from an L+D background.
Considerable experience translating MI / Data into insight to drive performance and strategy is key as is a successful track record of operating commercially and executing plans effectively.
The role requires strong technical capabilities to ensure effective data management, experience of leading a successful team and experience of influencing outcomes from data and insight.
