Job Description

The North America Business (NAB) Marketing department seeks a deadline-driven individual to design and develop front-end interfaces using C#.Net framework. This person should be experienced in digital user experience optimization and website analytics. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of User Experience, this person will work both independently and collaboratively to improve, guide, and develop highly effective digital interfaces within the web application layer as well as leveraging Sitecore CMS. The UI Developer will primarily be responsible for continuous responsive development, working with the UX Analyst to develop as well as improve components within the existing self-service customer portal to continually optimize the customer experience. This person will be responsible for introducing and supporting new portal functionality, design templates, and customer interaction tools to meet business needs (both CapEx and OpEx) in order to drive digital adoption among our existing customers. Close attention to detail, fast learning capability, ability to quickly understand user needs, and experience working within an agile methodology are critical to be successful in the role.


  • 3-5 years of experience in a digital role, including strong interaction design skills: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery, and AngularJS
  • Bachelor’s degree in an equivalent field of study related to the job
  • Retail energy and/or B2B marketing experience preferred
  • Sitecore experience required
  • Experience running A/B tests and/or user testing
  • Experience with analytics solutions, such as Omniture or Google Analytics
  • Experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other graphic design software
  • Advanced knowledge of web UX/UI along with responsive design
  • Demonstrated custom UX development skills that show creativity beyond applying third party templates
  • .NET development and MVC framework experience required
  • Experience using front-end responsive UI (Bootstrap, Foundation, or other)
  • Intermediate to Advanced experience with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively work with co-located teams
  • Ability to be a leader in a team environment, including interfacing with remote groups
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

  • Work with business stakeholders, UX manager, project management, and software development teams to understand user goals and produce deliverables that exceed expectations
  • Proficient in creating rich web UIs that merge with back-end components using JavaScript and AngularJS in conjunction with C# .NET MVC framework
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and jQuery
  • Proficient in a variety of visual design and prototyping tools
  • Understanding of Web and mobile user experience design
  • Experience creating storyboards, wireframes, user flows and white boarding
  • Develop and test across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices, including smartphones and tablets
  • Create visually appealing and highly usable web pages/tools/interfaces
  • Responsible for establishing front-end/UI layer coding standards
  • Must be able to multi-task and shift priorities as required by business requirements and deadlines
