  • Ability to inspect or monitor energy systems, including lighting, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to determine energy use and potential savings a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and
  • Outlook, experience with Microsoft Project a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree required - Engineering. Master’s Degree in Management, Business or Energy related fields is a strong plus
  • 2-7 years of work experience with a demonstrated history
  • Work is a mix of office and field base work, candidate must be physically able to visit customer and construction sites
  • Candidate must have a valid Driver’s License


  • Conduct or coordinate facility site visits, ASHRAE audits (Level I, II and III), feasibility studies, and demand response audits to identify energy savings opportunities
  • Use tools and technology to compare cost effective options and make recommendations to achieve a more efficient operation
  • Develop scope, cost and schedule in support of proposals
  • Develop preliminary designs, and prepare written proposals for energy monitoring, energy conservation and distributed generation projects including detailed analysis of costs and savings
  • Participate in customer sales calls and assist with presenting proposals and providing clarifications to develop a comfort level with the customer regarding our capacity to manage projects and bring to completion
  • Implement NADE Delivery Team project, engineering and HSES control processes to develop and execute projects in accordance with established cost, schedule, and quality requirements
  • Coordinate project turnover with Project Management
  • Provide consistent customer contact and communication throughout project tensure excellent customer service and satisfaction with the final projects
  • Demonstrate leadership in the area of safety. This requires observing and enforcing safety rules and practices, encouraging safe work behavior, and promptly correcting conditions and unsafe behavior, which may lead to accidents.
  • Provides periodic reports to leaders on project status and/or performance
  • Evaluate contractor and engineer performance and provide feedback to improve
  • Future performance and assist in future partner selection
  • Develop and maintain a network of engineering firms and contractors throughout the
  • NADE footprint for project evaluation, development, and execution
  • Seek, communicate and develop new opportunities to grow the NADE business
