North Sea HSE Manager
In this key role you will provide HSE leadership and supervision to the asset HSE team to develop, sustain and drive a culture that stimulates high levels of performance and continuous improvement. You will support key stakeholders to achieve organisational objectives and targets, meeting the requirements of the HSE management system, regulatory obligations and improvement programmes.
As a safety leader you will be an ambassador for Centrica’s life saving and house rules, promoting a proactive HSE culture through regular site visits, engagement with the front line and supporting and mentoring the HSE community.
You will be responsible for the planning and management of asset HSE resources and budget to ensure sufficient and suitable resources are available to meet the requirements of the HSE management system, regulatory requirements and improvement plans. You will also develop and set HSE objectives, plans and targets that provide line of sight to exploration and production metrics and goals. Analysis of leading and lagging performance indicators is key to identify and prioritise performance improvement opportunities.
External interfaces include regular engagement with regulatory authorities in order to assess asset compliance and performance and feedback to the wider asset leadership team. You will take the lead in ensuring audits, inspections, site visits and incident investigations are prepared and carried out in line with Centrica standards. You will need to effectively manage organisational interfaces and people as this role overseas assets in UK and Netherlands North Sea regulatory areas, operated, unmanned and contractor managed.
You will be an experienced HSE professional with a degree in a relevant technical subject or HSE related diploma (NEBOSH). Ideally ISO Lead Auditor or equivalent, you will have experience in managing people and have experience across E+P phases including field development, operations and decommissioning.
You will need to have a valid and up to date offshore survival and medical certification.
