Job Description

Provides day-to-day supervision to a team of associates in a Back Office environment. Ensures team produces successful results by delivering high-quality and timely analysis of processes as they relate to credit and debt management. Supplies management and peers with ongoing dialog on cross -functional processes to guarantee new initiatives are rolled out to Credit & Debt Management and across the organization.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years relevant job experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint,)
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, including coaching, facilitating and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and basic project methodology skills required
  • Ability to translate technical issues in a non-technical manner with Business Stakeholders and Operations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, Including executives, managers, and subject matter experts
  • Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Respectable knowledge of deregulated electricity markets would be considered an asset
  • Sound leadership qualities
  • Proficient knowledge of Peace 8.08, ISTA, EC-Power, Ercot, Market Solutions, Power Up, Excelergy and Discovery
  • Ability to mulit-task
  • Prioritize and effectively manage daily tasks and time sensitive information
  • Interpersonal skills to explain policies or otherwise communicate in situations requiring sensitivity and tact
  • Organizational skills to plan own work, work of direct reports and coordinate peer team projects

Responsibilities

  • Research, evaluate, and analyze information gathered from multiple sources to document in detail business requirements and recommend solutions for system issues
  • Communicate effectively with business and operational users
  • Support the creation of desktop procedures / job aides, and training materials
  • Explore and lead opportunities for process improvement
  • Ability to perform user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Serve as the liaison between the business units and Market Advocacy Groups and TDU
  • Support Business and Operations participation and cooperation during systems deployment projects
  • Ability to meet daily SLA’s as it relates to business needs
  • Coaches, trains and develops associates. Writes and administers formal and informal performance appraisals and periodic reviews of goals and objectives.
  • Conducts and attends communication meetings to ensure consistent operating procedures and compliance with relevant site, corporate, and regulatory guidelines
  • Identifies, resolves, and escalates complex concerns (client, associate, system)as needed
  • Addresses and resolves associate issues by exercising judgment and acting as an associate advocate
  • Motivates associates to improve performance by developing and implementing innovative recognition ideas
