User Interface Developer
ENER-G Combined Power Limited is one of the UK’s leading Combined Heat and Power Systems manufacturers, with a worldwide distribution and support network. It’s fully integrated control solutions are able to meet the most complex requirements of modern CHPs. The controls and monitoring team is responsible for system development, covering a broad range of technical disciplines including hardware and mechanical design, software and enabling global connectivity utilising the latest web technology.
This is a role that will provide the right individual with a key involvement in future software platforms to meet the needs of our customers and to support the continued growth of our CHP business.
Salary: Competitive plus package
Location: ENER-G Control’s office in Horsham, West Sussex, with some travel
Under the direction of the Head of Control and Monitoring, the candidate will play a major role in the design and production of software/user interfaces at all stages of the development cycle from the initial brief for proof of concept; through to final deployment. The position is for a highly motivated, self-starting individual, experienced in the key disciplines; but able to cope with other housekeeping tasks as required in a small development office. (E.g. customer bug fixing, helping support user understanding of the products etc.)
- Responsible for developing and maintaining SPA
- Developing highly scalable, maintainable SPA, using:
- HTML, CSS (SASS)
- Requirement capture and collation, production of lightweight specification
The successful candidate will be proficient in:
- Front-end architecture (modular design and infrastructure supporting automated testing and deployment of SPA application)
- AngularJS, used in production for a considerable working period
Ability to deliver high quality UX/UI through:
- Be able to understand complex business domain
- Experience in creating user journeys, seeing the bigger picture
- Front-end continuous integration
- Refactoring code on regular basis
- Testing reusable components
Nice to have skills:
- Asp.Net Web API
- C#, SQL Server, T-SQL
