Sales Operations Administrator - Oxford
Location: Oxford (office based)
The sales operations administrators are responsible for the end to end management of tender requests for both electricity and gas and service enquiries for Major Account’s customers and internal sales managers; which represent new business and retention opportunities for the Sales division. Sales operations administrators are required to validate all tender information necessary to create an accurate Request For Quote (RFQ), credit check and create a first price offer. They will be required to make amendments where necessary and ensure that processes are followed in a timely hand off to the Post Sales Admin Support team occurs. The Sales Operations Administrators will be required to have a high level accuracy and efficiency to be successful in the role. They will be responsible for driving their own focus on delivering against their team and individual objectives and quarterly targets to assist the Sales Operations Manager in the delivery of the team KPI’s.
Manage tender requests by gathering all necessary information through liaising with customers and sales managers which will include data cleansing and portfolio validation, to create an initial contract offer.
Work closely with the sales teams to process renewal offers and offer support in trouble-shooting systems deemed key to sales
Creation of an initial credit check for all potential businesses
Creation of prices by populating pricing tools with customer information and uploading on to internal systems resulting in bespoke contract offer
Liaising with internal teams including pricing, complex products and contract live when required in order to complete tenders and projects efficiently
Ensuring that each tender is monitored and progressed efficiently through the stages of the sales support journey
You should have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including intermediate level excel. It would be beneficial if you had familiarity with SAP and Salesforce systems but it is not essential. Any prior knowledge of the Energy Industry would also be advantageous.
Salary: £18,500 - £20,000 + excellent benefits
