The Data Analyst will develop and deliver insights and analysis to enable the business to run the operation and make informed decisions. They will lead the creation of actionable insight from data through the application of first class analytics, and will have responsibility for managing a number of stakeholder relationships within the business. They will also support projects relating to the Customer Operations portfolio and advise stakeholders on the appropriate use of data.

The Role

As Data Analyst you will be working with the Data and Analytics Manager to collect, prioritise and deliver data and analysis for the business, delivering new insight that can be used to support the operation or mitigate risk. You will develop and run dashboards for Customer Operations and provide support for business questions, provide insight and analysis to strengthen new operational activities and be proactive in using the insight and feedback to recommend and implement improvements. Part of your role will be to support less experienced analysts, guiding and coaching them to develop their skills and offer feedback and ideas for continuous improvement.

The Person

To be really successful in this role you will have a strong analytical background in a complex business or organisation and a strong appreciation for the appropriate analytical, statistical techniques which can be employed to provide robust analysis at a pace with a particular focus on SQL/SAS to interrogate the data warehouse efficiently. You will be able to demonstrate how you have built strong relationships across organisations and your ability to translate complex analytical projects into executable commercial opportunities and communicate this clearly and concisely using MS Office tools for your target audience.
