The Workday Change Management Specialist will play a key role in ensuring change initiatives and projects meet the business desired outcome(s) by increasing employee adoption. This person is primarily responsible for creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that improve employee adoption with minimal resistance. This person will work to ensure improvements in utilization and proficiency with changes that impact business processes, staff and services across the organization. Improvements of change management strategies shall increase benefit realization, create value and achieve results as measured through KPIs.

 

The Change Management Specialist will act as a coach to other leaders of the organization in facilitation to ensure the role of change sponsorship is met. This person may provide coaching and/or direct support to all levels of management and supervisors as they help guide team members through the adoption of change management strategies.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or Communication related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in a change management, human resources, process improvement, or project management role
  • Proven problem solving and root cause identification skills
  • Proven influencing, coaching and facilitative skills
  • Possess a solid understanding of transition management of how people go through a change and the change process
  • Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills
  • Experience working and collaborating in a multi-geography, global organization
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong initiative, innovative thinking skills, and the ability to analyze details and adopt a strategic view
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to effectively build relationships, promote a collaborative team environment, and influence others
  • Ability to diagnose and affect cultural change in moderate to difficult circumstances
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in the areas of communication, negotiation, problem solving, influencing, risk and issue mitigation and leadership
  • Ability to travel up to 25-30%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with HCM technology such as Workday (preferably), PeopleSoft, SAP or Oracle HCM

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Establish and apply structured methodology and lead change management activities
  • Develop, maintain and apply change management processes and tools required to support the adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative
  • Support the design, development, delivery and management of change communications across the organization
  • Conduct change impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders
  • Identify and prepare risk mitigation actions and plans
  • Provide consulting and coaching to project teams regarding change management processes, tools and activities
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with business line staff and change owners
  • Lead by example through demonstration of high performance in the areas of customer service, collaboration, team work, reliability, productivity, and execution
  • Act as Workday subject matter expert to troubleshoot and resolve issues with a strong sense of urgency, ownership and creative problem-solving
