Are you ready to make the move into a rewarding sales role? British Gas are looking for dynamic sales professionals to become the face of our Heating Sales Team. We have a number of fantastic opportunities available for Full Time, Part Time and Flexible contracts to suit your lifestyle. 

Currently recruiting in London, South East England, South West England, Midlands and Wales

Company Car, flexible benefits and a generous salary with our On Target Incentive package, ranging from £39,500 to £66,000 for those delivering outstanding performance on both customer and sales metrics.

All your appointments are pre-booked for you, our customers are expecting you – all you need to do is turn up and share with them our state of the art central heating systems, associated products and financial services. You’ll be expected to demonstrate, provide accurate quotes and sell only the products that are right for the customers’ needs.

We’ll ensure you have everything you need to succeed: your own company vehicle, the latest hand-held technology, mobile phone and uniform. Of course, we’ll also give you the product training so you’ll be able to answer any customer questions. We’ll trust you to be the face of British Gas make the right decisions and deliver a first-class customer experience on every visit

About you

Our Heating Sales Advisors, like our customers, come from many different backgrounds and although industry experience is not essential, we do expect you to want to learn about and become an ambassador for our products. What’s important is that you are passionate about delivering the right solutions for our customers while building rapport and confidence in our brand.

As you would expect we put our customers first, this means meeting them in their homes at a time that is best for them. This will of course involve working evenings and weekends. One of the great benefits is we will provide you with a Company Car, so you will be required to hold a valid driving licence with no more than 6 points to ensure you can visit our customer homes when they expect to see you.

What you can expect from us

FT, PT and Flexible contracts are available with a starting salary of £22,462 (pro-rata for PT and Flex). We work to customer demand, with features that allow different shift patterns from a minimum of 3 days per week in times of low demand to 5 days in high demand. We also offer paid holiday, discounted services and pension along with share schemes.
