  • You will be an Energy Expert with the passion, commitment, dedication, resourcefulness and commercial acumen to balance the needs of our customers, Brokers and their businesses, along with our business within these highly valuable portfolios
  • With your natural drive, determination and problem solving skills you will develop a significant network of colleagues across British Gas that will facilitate effective resolution to customer queries and needs
  • Using your exceptional account management skills you will create mutually beneficial and profitable relationships with your Brokers and customers
  • You will build customer loyalty as an excellent communicator and using your strong influencing skills you will deliver sales through superb service
  • You will manage your Broker portfolio from quote through the entire lifecycle of a contract

 

The Role

  • Starting salary £19,000
  • Ensure your targets, service level agreements and quality KPI’s are achieved taking action to address any adverse influences
  • Through relationship management you will fully understand the wants and needs of Brokers and Partners to deliver a mutually beneficial partnership
  • Build relationships amongst your peer group and support functions to share best practice and to drive continuous improvement that contribute to customer experience and value
  • Work alongside and support the Business Development Managers to ensure that excellent service is a priority agenda
  • Ensure the consistent use - including data cleanse/updating of approved BGB systems, processes and customer facing marketing material where appropriate
  • Proactively source appropriate Industry and Customer information to identify potential value growth and customer acquisition opportunities
  • Be an active part of the team with valuable contribution during Team and Channel sessions
  • Ensure all dealings are compliant with both internal and external standards
  • Use your own technical knowledge and liaise with other BGB and BG teams as required, e.g. Sales,      Connections and Metering, Dataflow Management to resolve issues
  • Managing customer queries within target timescales and adhering to agreed processes     
  • Demonstrate professional capability and personal ownership of your performance
  • You will manage inbound and outbound calls on a daily basis ensuring that all calls are answered within agreed service level agreements
