Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of Search Engine Marketing and Search Engine Optimization
  • Proven experience running successful digital marketing and social media campaigns
  • Advanced knowledge of managing different social media platforms
  • Experience with digital analytics and telling the story of omni-channel attribution
  • Prior experience implementing successful digital marketing strategies, programs and tactics with proven results for both B2B/B2C
  • A deep understanding of digital marketing best practices and the ability to implement them
  • Established record of delivering effective strategies resulting in increased traffic and conversion
  • Excellent writing, communication and time management skills
  • Excellent analytical skills, able to quickly understand, isolate and resolve issues
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic culture
  • College degree in business, marketing, advertising, communications or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Customer Experience or User Experience
  • Commercial acumen
  • Offer strategy

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Advanced knowledge of HTML
  • Experience working with a Content Management System and ability to chart the path for next level enhancements
  • Familiarity with the Adobe Analytics (Omniture) Suite

Responsibilities

The Director, Digital Marketing is an exciting opportunity to be a part of an advanced digital and e-commerce team in the Houston area. The role would oversee the company’s efforts in online paid media, search engine marketing, social media, content, online brand strategy, and other digital marketing initiatives. The right candidate will have a proven track record of monitoring emerging digital marketing technologies, tools, and trends and implementing them within their organization. Beyond the Digital department, this role will work closely with Marketing, Sales, Project Management, External Communications, and other groups on a wide range of assignments.

  • Plan, develop and execute on digital marketing plans that support company’s integrated marketing campaigns
  • Create, coordinate and plan digital marketing budget
  • Lead company’s online paid media advertising efforts across different advertising platforms, including Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Facebook and Twitter (and more) to meet ROI and cost-to-acquire requirements
  • Provide guidance to the company on brand strategy and implement that strategy throughout the digital customer experience
  • Oversee company’s social media strategy and processes, including content publishing, campaigns, promotions, contests, customer interaction and support, and e-commerce capabilities
  • From a brand and content perspective, utilize established e-commerce best practices to increase online sales of new and existing customers throughout the web, mobile and social media experiences
  • Work with Digital Conversion teams to create best-in-class online customer experience
  • Manage content production in multiple formats (articles, web pages, infographics, video) across company’s online web site and digital assets
  • Report on success, improvements, tests and optimization through agreed upon metrics
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Communications teams on marketing and brand campaign initiatives
  • Continually explore new digital and innovation developments to find ways to more effectively communicate and meet business objectives
