Customer Strategy Manager
Here at British Gas we are transforming the way our customers use their gas and electricity through the rollout of smart meters into each of our customers’ homes. As our new Customer Strategy Manager based at our HQ in Staines (TW18) working within our Smart Metering Customer Strategy Team where you will play a key role in ensuring the benefits of having smart meters are brought to life in the external influencer landscape, and ultimately permeate consumer awareness and propensity to take up smart meters.
- We sit in the heart of our residential commercial business, working closely with our Customer Experience, Sales, Marketing and Corporate Affairs teams
- In this role you will be leading how we bring to life the benefits of smart based on the experience of customers to date, and will support and shape our external strategies for how we turn external influencers into advocates, working closely between our product and Corporate Affairs teams
This role is predominantly consumer marketing based but set within the context of influencer audiences such as media, political and industry influencers, so requires a strong grasp of customer-based strategy creation and customer experience considerations. In addition to the above we will be looking for the following evidence
- Strong commercial acumen, able to understand and trade off customer and commercial factors effectively
- Strong attention to detail, championing customer view at all points
- Knowledge and understanding of using and interpreting customer insights
