We now have an exciting opportunity for a Business Movers Team Leader to join our team.

Your day to day duties will include:

You will lead, inspire and engage a team of Business Movers Professionals to deliver exceptional Customer Service. You will be responsible for ensuring that your team meet all key performance metrics against business requirements. You will also be accountable for supporting your people through the transition of 'Serve and Sale' - the transition of our Business Movers service professionals to become competent and capable at selling to our customers through great service.

Your day to day duties will include:

  • To engage and Inspire your team to deliver service excellence and improve Contact NPS
  • To up-skill your team through coaching and technical training to improve sales performance and reduce customer effort
  • Identify opportunities to support conversational improvements within the first and final experience of customers
  • To develop a focused and high performing team, leading on behaviours
  • To plan and prioritise activities to deliver key measurable without compromising service levels
  • To deliver business growth through teams lead generation, sales performance, and debt reduction

The Person

To be great in this role you will have....

  • Ability to engage, inspire and motivate a team, leading on behaviours
  • Great coaching skills with a proven track record of success
  • A deep understanding of what makes a great customer experience
  • Ability to make commercially astute decisions on behalf of the business to resolve customer queries without the need for further escalation
  • Able to plan and prioritise enabling delivery of targets
  • Demonstrates a results-driven attitude
  • Ability to work as part of a team, sharing best practice, knowledge, resource and ideas
  • Demonstrates a hands on approach to problem solving; identifying issues and using initiative and available resources to generate solutions
  • Confident and effective communicator with the ability to understand and translate key business messages to the team and build relationships throughout the business

The Company

Salary range : £24,500 - £36,750 plus excellent benefits

British Gas, part of the Centrica Group, supplies gas and electricity to UK residential and business customers, provides central heating and gas appliance installation and maintenance and low-carbon and energy efficient products and services.
