Job Description

The Manager of Knowledge Management is a key member of the Operations Readiness and Controls Management team focused on identifying, capturing, rendering and organizing information as knowledge assets for transferable use through intuitive search and retrieval systems as a foundation for knowledge sharing and organizational learning. The knowledge base is essential for a positive customer experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Related Field Required
  • Relevant Masters Degree Preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with technical writing and procedures/process documentation
  • Experience writing content for learning and development purposes, including participant and leader materials
  • Experience with online authoring tools including Captivate, Articulate, Flash
  • Experience using and managing content in a knowledgebase system
  • Proficiency with Sharepoint
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of Visio and Microsoft Project
  • Ability to think and act independently
  • Must possess high level of organizational and planning skills

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other managers and teams across COO and NAHome to ensure changes are reflected in the knowledge base accurately and timely in user-friendly, accessible formats
  • Manage team to ensure knowledge content is captured and rendered through an appropriate medium
  • Manage team to ensure knowledge assets are represented and managed for effective transfer and use
  • Enhanced business performance through accurate and appropriate KM assets deployed for optimal use throughout the organization
  • Continuous improvement of existing knowledge assets and related learning materials based on change management requirements and evaluation results.
  • Manage personnel to ensure appropriate definition, design, testing and integration of a KM information system.
  • Communicate effectively with management and internal stake holders
