Requirements

  • Key contributing member of the North America Home Services IT leadership team
  • Oversees end to end architecture and development of the North America Home Services  platform
  • Builds and maintains the long-term strategic roadmap for the platforms  IT systems architecture (Business, Information, Application, Technology, Security)
  • Ensures alignment of IT strategy and planning with the company’s business goals and objectives
  • Seamlessly integrates business and service strategy into the platform architecture roadmap
  • Partners with business leaders and technology subject-matter experts to elicit and translate business requirements into technological solutions
  • Leads and manages the design and modeling of tactical and strategic architectures for delivery, development, and support of projects
  • Manages and partners with other solution architects and developers to provide consensus based scalable and adaptable architectural solutions
  • Develops and maintains policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure that a consistent framework is applied across the company
  • Promotes the use of a shared infrastructure and application roadmap to reduce costs and improve how information flows
  • Manages and facilitates a review board to evaluate project proposals for architectural fit
  • Circulates roadmaps to align IT priorities with business partner needs and Enterprise Architecture
  • Mentor Development, Architecture and Production Support team members and peers
  • Leads the strategic vision, execution/development, maintenance, and quality assurance for all applications within the North America Home Services portfolio
  • Works with key business sponsors to oversee and prioritize business enhancement and project requests and resolve business partners’ IT concerns
  • Manages a team that includes both project execution capability and development capacity, and is responsible for all aspects of the architectural and development enhancement and project life cycle
  • Assists in the management of vendor relationships with service providers and third-party software companies
  • Assists in the generation of viable business cases that include staffing information, sourcing information, and risk mitigation plans
  •  Works with the Manager of Project Management  and project managers to objectively evaluate vendor delivery performance versus schedule, cost, and quality and provide feedback on a periodic basis to vendor
  • Manages M&A due diligence processes and governs over integration/divestitures

Responsibilities

  • Applicable experience in all architectural domains (Business, Information, Application, Technology, Security)
  • Experience building enterprise architecture roadmaps
  • Certification in Enterprise Architecture is desired (TOGAF)
  • Experience designing, integrating, and managing complex infrastructure solutions (e.g. VMware, Citrix)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application, and systems engineering
  • Demonstrated experience with business process and performance modeling, benchmarking, and financial analysis
  • More than five years of experience in building an application development team, working with business users, and third-party vendors
  • Experience with resource planning, forecasting, and project delivery methodologies
  • Knowledge of pharmacy business
