The Overview

Location: Truro, Cornwall

The Cornwall Local Energy Market is a pioneering £19m programme, part funded by European Regional Development Funding (ERDF) and Centrica’s Distributed Energy and Power (DE&P) division. It aims to solve distribution network constraints using flexible demand, generation and storage thus reducing the need for traditional network reinforcement. It intends to develop practical solutions to enable the more effective balancing of local generation and demand. The project is looking to start in Q4 2016 and will run for three years.

We are looking for an experienced individual to manage the communications workstream for the programme. The Communications Manager will be based in Cornwall full time and will lead the successful start up, development, delivery, close-down and benefits realisation of the communications workstream. The person will be accountable to the Programme Director.

The Communications Manager will be based in Cornwall full time and will lead the successful start up, development, delivery, close-down and benefits realisation of the communications workstream. The person will be accountable to the Programme Director.

  • Manage the development and delivery of the communications strategy for the Cornwall programme and secure buy in from the programme leadership team.
