HR2017 Human Resources (HR) Graduate Programme
As a graduate on the Centrica HR programme, you will play a significant role in developing, supporting and shaping our people to meet the future challenges of our business.
To achieve this we are recruiting exceptional and innovative individuals who can step up to these diverse challenges with drive and ambition, and above all, have a passion and commitment to deliver excellence to our organisation. In addition, individuals must also be able to demonstrate knowledge and passion for working in HR.
In return, we will put you through a structured development programme that will give you the opportunity to experience a number of HR disciplines:
• HR business partnering
• Talent management and succession planning
• Learning & development
• Resourcing strategy and projects
• Reward and recognition
• Employee engagement
• Employee relations including work with Trade unions
As a HR graduate, you will build up your portfolio of HR skills through a breadth of experiences and your professional development will be supported by our HR Talent Board and Executive Sponsors. There will be opportunities for you to raise your profile with our HR Directors, Business Leaders and colleagues. And of course, you will be a part of the wider graduate community at Centrica and so will quickly develop knowledge of the business and build relationships.
Responsibility comes fast so your outstanding people skills will need to be complimented by strong analytical skills and flexibility to perform in a fast-paced environment.
Our vast business offers many opportunities across a number of UK locations, and you will work in some of these so flexibility regarding relocating throughout the duration of the programme is a must.
Having completed our development programme, you will have a wide-ranging understanding, and experience, of how a first-class HR function operates, paving the way for you to deliver change as an innovative strategic HR professional of the future.
