 SUPERVISE ALL ASPECTS INVOLVED IN THE RUNNING OF THE PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT:

  • Scheduling and maintaining the programme of works and co-ordinating activity with sales and engineering teams
  • Organising labour to cover the requirements of the build programme
  • Maintaining quality and standards within the department
  • Liaise with the product design department on bill of materials and design
  • Liaise with purchasing & stores to ensure timely delivery of parts
  • Sub-contractor management eg fabrication companies, lift & shift contractors, Control panel builders
  • Liaise with projects department with test and despatch dates
  • Ensuring discipline of Safety and Health standards are maintained within the department
  • Review and update of COSHH and Risk Assessments
  • Investigate problems within build and test functions
  • Accident reporting
  • Writing monthly reports
  • P & L responsibility for production activity
