Job Description

Starting salary, £18,561 rising to £19,573 after successful probationary period

At British Gas, we share a common purpose to help our customers today and secure energy for tomorrow. As a Customer Service Advisor at our Leeds call centre, you could play your part. You’ll be joining a team of people from many different backgrounds who are united in living our values, doing the right thing for customers, keeping things simple and being extraordinary together. A short distance from the train station and public transport in Holbeck, Leeds 11.

You’ll be responsible for resolving a range of enquiries from our residential and business customers politely and efficiently – whether that involves dealing with a billing query or responding to a change of address. You’ll take ownership of each call, getting to the heart of the query, deciding the best course of action and providing the kind of service that earns our customers’ trust. At the same time, you’ll be promoting our groundbreaking products such as Smart metering and Hive remote heating control, helping our customers manage their energy consumption and make savings on their bill.

If you’ve got outstanding interpersonal skills and take pride in giving your best, our comprehensive six weeks training will give you the knowledge to deliver a first-class customer experience.
