Job Description

The Associate, Resourcing Operations & Compliance provides administrative support and guidance on resourcing, compliance and immigration processes required for the safe delivery of starters, movers and leavers across Centrica. Working within the Resourcing Operations Team, the Associate will work closely with colleagues in HR and Resourcing, ensuring an excellent candidate and manager experience.

  • Applicant screening and organizing candidate interviews
  • Experience of delivering pre and post assessment center administrative  processes and support
  • Familiarity with administering pre-employment checks and testing
  • Process and administration background 

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for delivering administrative support to the DE - Professional Hire and hiring managers across the business by ensuring vacancies are correctly posted  and are managed to support the delivery of an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Publish vacancies to internal sources and the external suite of job boards
  • Action all requests from the aligned Resourcing portfolios and Recruiters, assisting team members as and when required
  • Use the HR systems that support the recruitment processes to manage candidate applications to the agreed timescales
  • Monitor applications from re-deploys and provide support to the Recruiters, ensuring Company policy is followed
  • Send updates to applicants when required and arrange tests to support selection processes
  • Schedule interviews / assessment centers / meetings with candidates
  • Ensure correct Right to Work (RTW) and pre-employment checking consent documentation is collected and stored and accurately update the management information and documents fields in the HCM system relating to the RTW evidence (e.g. passport, visa)
  • Deliver an excellent new joiner and hiring manager experience by taking ownership of the resourcing administration and compliance process
  • Initiating pre-employment checks for successful candidates, managing the form completion process and ensuring that all required documentation and orientation packages are correct to support employee onboarding, ensuring quality guidelines are met
  • Manage and interpret pre-employment check reports and advise managers on their resolution
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert and be in a position to offer advice and guidance to hiring managers and DE - Professional Hire as the 1st point of contact for all RTW and PEC queries
  • Ensure in-country conduct authorities are supported and maintain ongoing compliance
  • Ensure that successful candidates receive the required offer and contract information by cross referencing correct set up against the HR System
  • Maintain robust management information and work within team quality measurements and SLAs
  • Monitor non-compliant hiring, managing any necessary processes to close the loop by ensuring that documentation and pre-employment checks are administered immediately
  • Manage and respond to queries received from applicants online and via the telephone
  • Manage the payment of expenses to all candidates
  • Monitor payment processes to external suppliers
