We cover every business unit of British Gas, delivering actionable insights that keep our customers at the heart of all our commercial decisions.
Covering 28 million customer accounts, we combine advanced analytics, modelling and a variety of market research techniques to develop a deep understanding of our customers: who they are, how they behave, what they like to buy and what they think about us. We get to know them so that we can fully understand their needs and behaviours in order to influence the decisions we make as a company. This ensures we appeal to the right customers at the right time, in the most efficient way.

We are looking for the highest-calibre graduates to join our programme and enable us to continue to stand out as an Insight-led organisation. Successful graduates will be rewarded with experience and knowledge that will build on existing skills to help deliver industry leading Insight.
This scheme runs for 2¼ years with an initial 11-month placement, including a comprehensive induction period, followed by two 8 month placements. These placements have all been allocated to provide a range experiences across the key functional areas of the team in order to develop the skills needed to be a future Insight leader.
In particular you will gain a deep understanding of the customer markets in which we operate, how we analyse our customers and their behaviour, what our customers say they need from us as well as how we build successful campaigns.
We’ll provide the support and encouragement you need to meet your individual goals so that you can develop quickly in the role, the rest is up to you.
What we look for
In order to apply for this stream you must already have, or be expecting to achieve a minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree, or a 2:2 with a post graduate degree.
