Our 10 week programme is designed to increase employability in students whilst providing a valuable resource to the business. We are looking for self-directed learners and self-motivated individuals, who show potential to grow, learn and develop on our Summer Placement Programme. You should aim to demonstrate a can-do, proactive attitude and a genuine interest and desire to learn more about our business and industry.

As an engineering summer placement you will be placed within one of our engineering businesses. Within Centrica Exploration and Production you will be part of a team that is making exciting strides: students working within Centrica Storage will gain unique insights into a high-profile and strategically important gas storage environment. Whilst students joining Distributed Energy & Power will gain exposure to large gas-fired power stations and new distributed generation systems. All placements will offer you the opportunity to achieve your full potential.
We have locations across the UK – plus we arrange and pay for accommodation close to your place of work with the other students based in that area.
Duration: 10 weeks (with 5 days paid holiday)
Locations: UK-wide, accommodation is provided locally
Starting salary: £14,000 pro rata
Minimum requirements: You should be in the penultimate year of a relevant MEng expecting at least a 2:1 and a full UK driving licence (due to remote locations)
