Rotating through different parts of Centrica Group, you will build the portfolio of skills and breadth of experiences you need to become a strategic HR professional. Your three placements will expose you to a range of HR disciplines including:
Strategic HR business partnering
Talent management and succession planning
Learning and development
Resourcing strategy and projects
Transformation and change
Reward and recognition
Diversity and inclusion
There will be lots of opportunities throughout the programme for you to raise your profile with HR directors, business leaders and colleagues. You will also meet biannually with your fellow HR graduates to network, share insights and develop your skills. At the start of your second year, we’ll help you gain your CIPD qualification. By the end of the programme, you’ll know exactly how a first-class HR function operates and will be ready to play a key part in delivering change.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Responsibility comes early for our HR graduates, so as well as having outstanding people skills, it’s important that you have a strong analytical mind and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment. You’ll also need to be flexible about relocating within the UK if you really want to make the most of all the opportunities on offer.
The HR Graduate Programme presents a continuous stretching environment in which no two days are the same; from business partnering senior stakeholders, to managing transformation projects and consultation processes.
