Duration: 2 years and 3 month (1 x 3-month placement, 3 x 8-month placements)
Starting salary: £27,000 plus £3,000 starting bonus
Minimum requirements: 2:1 degree (2:2 if combined with Master’s)

Then our business leadership scheme could be just what you’re looking for.
Over the course of four placements, you will move across the UK, exploring new places, broadening your skills, and building the foundations you need for a great career. In that time, you’ll be able to create a vast network of contacts and gain direct experience of leading and managing teams. And from day one, you’ll be making a direct impact on our business, finding solutions that benefit our customers, our engineers, and our contact centre teams.
Support comes from your dedicated graduate talent manager, who will be there to answer questions from before you join us to after you leave the scheme. You will also be mentored by a senior leader, who can offer you all kinds of useful insight and advice. Plus you will have access to our online learning tools and hundreds of tailored videos and guides.
The programme kicks off with a three-month stint in one of our customer contract centres. Here you’ll experience what life is like on the frontline of a brand such as British Gas, Dyno or Hive. It’s a chance for you to gain your first real understanding of the customers at the heart of our business.
This placement is all about continuous improvement. You’ll be based in a team focused on analysing and identifying ways to improve our operational systems and processes.
Your first leadership challenge. This placement is unique to our business leadership scheme, giving you an early opportunity to take charge of a team. Expect to learn more about yourself in these eight months than at any other point in your career.
The possibilities are endless for your final placement. You could be doing anything from providing insights on our ten-year strategy to leading multimillion projects. Whichever direction you choose to take, you can be sure that you will be delivering significant changes and driving business results.

We believe leadership ability is something that can be developed. So we don’t need you to have any previous experience. We just need to you be customer-focused, self-aware and passionate about collaboration and improvement. To make the most of all the opportunities on offer, you also need to be willing to learn and try new things. Above all, you must have a genuine desire to lead people.
