What does it involve?

Our Analyst Programme is a great way to get to know British Gas inside and out.

Your work will be fundamental to ensuring that our commercial strategy is right, that we deliver improvements in critical areas, such as pricing, and that we are profitable.

Graduate analysts within British Gas tackle everything from improving our understanding of market behaviours and economics to assessing the commercial implications of government legislation relating to carbon reduction. Add in the opportunity to assess major risk, analyse customer behaviours and conduct competitor reviews, and you’ll see that this is an opportunity to influence the heart of our business.

We are seeking highly numerate, business-focused graduates with the tenacity and drive to succeed in a challenging, high-profile industry. You will benefit from analyst-specific development opportunities, built on a carefully-devised Core Development Programme. Plus, a personal coach and a senior mentor will support and stretch you in equal measure.

The sheer variety of placements on offer is testament to the kind of work we do, so bring along your passion for analysis – be it finance, commercial, consumer insight or more – and you’ll have every opportunity to reach your full potential.
