Our recruitment process has been designed with you in mind. It's fast and efficient, because we want you to have plenty of time for your studies or for enjoying your gap year.
Our competency-based assessment process uses online application forms not CV-based recruitment. There is an opportunity to record your work experience and extra-curricular activities within the application form. There is also space to provide evidence that you possess the skills we are looking for. Take a look at our competencies beforehand so that you can start preparing your examples.
All submitted applications are read in full, so if you invest the time in completing an application, we will spend time reading it. Please remember that you may only apply once a year and so this is your only opportunity to show us that you have the skills and experience beyond your academic qualification, which are required for the programmes. Please ensure that you complete all details relative to your degree or Masters so we can process your application.
Please apply early to avoid disappointment. We run assessment centres from January and will close as soon as we have filled our remaining positions.
Use of your personal information
The business to which you apply will be one of the companies in the Centrica Group. Centrica Plc, its group companies (including, British Gas and Dyno-Group) and its agents will use the information collected in this form and during the recruitment process, including sensitive information (such as information relating to ethnic group, health or criminal offences), for the purpose of processing and assessing your application for employment.
If your application is successful we will use your information for the purposes of your employment. This is described more fully in Centrica's standard terms of employment. If your application is unsuccessful we will keep your information on file for a period of approximately 12 months.
